You are required to submit an original, signed and stamped Police Certificate from An Garda Siochana as part of your application for the IEC Canada Working Holiday Visa. For Irish applicants, a valid Police Certificate is the original document which is prepared by either the Garda or in the Police Service Northern Ireland. Applicants who do not sumbit the original documents will be refused.

If you have lived in a country other than Canada for a period of more than six months since your eighteenth birthday, you must also enclose a valid police certificate from that country.

The certificate must have been issued no more than three months before you submit your application.
