The programme Fee includes all the processing of your Visa & Job placement application documents by ourselves and our Sponsor, Intrax, in the US; Issue of DS-2019; US Embassy appointment arranged, Predeparture Orientation, 24 hour emergency service in the USA.
Work & Travel Insurance €289
This cost will be reduced if you are travelling for less than 12 months. Our insurance policy has been preapproved by our US Sponsor and is specifically tailored to meet the requirements of the 12monh Work & Travel Programme.
Embassy Interview Fee $140
Applicants must attend a mandatory interview at the US Embassy.
Sevis Fee $180
SEVIS stands for Student and Exchange Visitor Information System. SEVIS was implemented post 9/11 in order to allow the US Government to track the location of all participants on student exchange based programmes, including the New 12 Month USA Work Programme. The system is now fully implemented and the US Government has levied a fee to cover the administrative costs of the system. You must pay this fee in order to obtain your J1 visa from the US Embassy/Consulate. Go4less will arrange payment for you and will supply you with a SEVIS receipt (I-797 or I-901) with your DS-2019 before your appointment with the US Embassy/Consulate.
Flight Costs
Go4less have negotiated special flight deals with all the major airlines. Participants on the 12mth Visa are allowed travel on a oneway ticket. Flights must be booked through Go4Less as all your travel information needs to be provided to the US Government, Sponsor and Insurance Provider.
